Cast Tec Flat Victorian Granite Surround/Mantel

The Cast Tec Flat Victorian comes in choice of Honed Black Granite OR Polished Black Granite.

Whilst the mantel design has been around for 150 years, its simple design allows it to suit contemporary settings also. This mantel has a top shelf length of 1500mm (59″) or for those with a smaller chimney breast or wall space, there is also a version available with a top shelf length of 1350mm (approx 53″).

With a honed finish, the polishing process ends before buffing to create a matte or low-gloss sheen that lacks the highly reflective, mirror like look of polished granite. The softer honed finish is particularly popular among homeowners wanting an aged or casual look. A polished granite finish is created when the stone is buffed with the help of fine polishing pads, causing the surface to acquire a glossy, reflective appearance.
